The "painter of light" is how Joaquin Sorolla is known...
He is one of the main figures in Spanish art history and one of the most internationally famous painters of his time. He was able to capture light and movement in his paintings like none other.
Please join us for an artists reception on Saturday, January 23rd, 2016, to celebrate the influences this great master has had on today's artists. We will have a special exhibition of over 50 original paintings by LPAPA artists celebrating this great master, plus meet our special guest Fabiola A. Lorente-Sorolla, the great-great-granddaughter of Joaquin Sorolla, who will be traveling from Spain to be with us.
